APPLICATIONS INVITED FOR PROJECT JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW / PROJECT ASSISTANT

 

The Centre invites applications from candidates for selection to a project based appointment.  The eligibility criteria for being appointed as Junior Research Fellow or as Project Assistant and the respective emoluments applicable to the positions, are as follows:

 

 As Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

  • Masters Degree from a recognized University in Physics/Material Science
  • NET qualified candidates will be given preference
  • Students who have appeared for the final year examination and expect to complete their degree before 30 September 2012 may also apply.

    Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science who have NET qualified for Lectureship

House Rent Allowance of 30% on the monthly emoluments stated above shall be admissible.

 

As Project Assistant (PA): 

  • I Class MSc./BE/B.Tech
  • Students who have appeared for the final year examination and expect to complete their degree before 30 September 2012 may also apply.

 

The monthly consolidated stipend in the case of a Project Assistant shall be Rs.8,000/-

 

The appointment is purely temporary and shall inititally be for a period of one year, extendable up to three years, subject to satisfactory performance.

 

Eligible candidates may download the application form and send the completed application by email in Adobe PDF format to admin@csmr.res.in on or before September 1, 2012 (Mention in the subject line “Application for the post of “Project Junior Research Fellow”).  

 

A hard copy of the application, signed and dated by the applicant along with recent passport size photograph and photocopies of relevant certificates and other testimonials in support of age, qualification, caste, experience etc. will be collected at the time of interview.
